The LIM Coach coaches the participant and extracts insights on ARL Coaching. Below is the design of the one-hour coaching session:

  • Check In
  • Contract: Goal Setting related to how the tools have been applied in a team setting
  • Context: Questions; understanding the challenge
  • Choices: Possibilities and strategies
  • Change: What are the measures of success; Next steps; accountability
  • Debrief & Feedback  (Written feedback will be sent to each participant after the session).
  • Close

In preparation for Team Coaching 201/202, participants are also reminded to read “Gentle Interventions” and begin to document learning insights on coaching as well as:

  • Review the outline for the upcoming course – Team Coaching 201/202
  • Review and accomplish the Coaching Assessment Instrument: The assessment will take about 45 minutes. Participants are expected to read each major question and the sub-questions.
  • Reflect on all the team experiences of the participant and his/her team and exchange thoughts, feelings and insights from those experiences.
  • Complete reading “Gentle Interventions” as we will be exchanging insights from this book
Sucessful completion of this course satisfies 20.5 "Core Competency" Continuing Coach Education Hours.
